My name is Alex Beckers, but you can call me "Ibn". I'm the new Online Community Relations person for Asheron's Call 1. Hi!

Why am I here? Well my job is to help *us* communicate better with *you*. Like everyone else on the AC team, I want to make Asheron's Call as fun as possible for you, and my duties here are to make sure that your concerns are represented on the team. Everyone on the team is concerned with the fans, but for me that's ALL I'm concerned about. I'm dedicated to Online Relations, and I'm dedicated to AC1.

So I'll be talking to you a lot.

My primary place of residence will be here on the ACDM Forums. If you want to reach me, post here and I guarantee that I will read it. I'll also be active on the community-run sites.

One thing I want to get clear right off the bat is that Orion and srand are NOT going away! It's a great thing that they're active in the community and I'm keeping them here. If anything, you'll start seeing MORE developer interaction now that there's someone to manage it all -- see Scenario's introduction earlier today.

Prior to this I was Community Manager at Warcry's Crossroads of Dereth, and I know I've met several of you at past ACPLs. I look forward to meeting more of you this year!

So, anything you want to say about the game that you want the Devs to hear, definately let me know and I'll make sure it gets to them. And have fun!

Well, if it helps any, for the last two years I've both been a discussion board moderator at WCoD *and* worked at an IT Help Desk. So if I can handle 60 calls in two hours screaming "why is the server down?!" hopefully I can handle this. Thanks tho'!
