Hello to you all, glad you could join me in this thread. Perhaps some introductions are in order. I am the new ACLive Lead Artist!

I have been a part of the Asheron's Call Live Team since March of this year. Some of you may be familiar with my first pieces of work in the game- Ulgrim's Casting Stein and the infamously unattainable Fish boots.

More recently, my more noteworthy additions to the game have been the introduction of a new look for the Chaotic Virindi and a large number of new colors for our ever evolving bestiary. Now, I am faced with one of my largest tasks to date, the creation of new artwork for our new stronghold in the Southern Direlands!

I have been playing Asheron's Call since the spring of 2000. Admittedly for the first few (who am I kidding... the first many) months I was fairly oblivious to the world as far as lore goes. I didn't even know about life protections until I was level 25. Come late 2000, the Shadow Wars began to hit full swing, and my fascination with the back-story of Asheron's Call began. And it grew and grew and grew, and eventually led me to where I am now.

Now I am fairly positive some of you don't necessarily care about where I come from and my history with the game and you are more interested in what I have in store for the coming months.

While I cannot same much about the details, I can say I have a lot on my plate and hope to get as much of it as possible into the game.

Expect to see some new monsters in the next 6 months, some mundane, some not. Expect to see more dye-able quest items (though no new dye colors on the way). Expect to see a good amount of old artwork updated (as time allows of course).

One of the biggest things I enjoy about working on Asheron's Call is the amount of instant feedback I can get. I encourage you, the players, to make you opinions known (though I would appreciate you being polite about it). Nothing makes me happier than seeing discussion surrounding the work I have spent all month (and sometimes more than all month) working on, good or bad.

I hope you all enjoy the efforts the entire ACLive team produces for you each month. I look forward to not only staying aboard the live team, but becoming a member of the community!
