Hardware Probleme

Late last night, we began to experience issues with the worlds of Leafcull, Frostfell, Thistledown, and Solclaim. The issue was quickly traced to a hardware failure in the machine that supports the databases for these four worlds. We are working on repairing that hardware failure as swiftly as possible, and expect to have all four worlds available again by 1:00 pm PDT (4:00 pm EDT) today (6/23). Unfortunately, the timing of the failure interferred with the nightly backup of the databases; in order to restore the character data, we are forced to roll back to data saved on Sunday morning (6/22) at 1:30 am PDT (4:30 am EDT). We are deeply sorry for this inconvenience


UPDATE:

Our intrepid Operations team was able to successfully salvage Sunday's data from backup for Leafcull, Frostfell, and Solclaim. Those worlds, therefore, have experienced only a relatively minor rollback of character data. Thistledown, however, was not so lucky; despite our efforts, Thistledown's data is being restored from the backup made on Sunday morning (6/22) at 1 am PDT.


UPDATE:

The restoration of Thistledown's character data is proceeding more slowly than expected. We hope to have Thistledown up again between 8 pm and 10 pm PDT tonight. Thank you for your continued patience. We know how frustrating this is for everyone involved.
